I met and befriended Doctor Doreen Kossove, MSc, MD, DABP, in Pietermaritzburg South Africa in 1984. I met her Husband Owen and Daughter Natasha and remained Friends with them all. Doreen saved My life, and I wish I could have saved hers. Sadly my Best Friend Doreen Passed away on the 6th February 2009.I Miss her desperately, I miss our e-mails and our laughs, and I miss most of all our friendship. Doreen worked tirelessly to help people that found themselves in need of a listening ear and a friend to confide in as they cope with Their Problems. Doreen worked on the Cancer website. I know they to will be missing her. One thing for sure the Cancer that took her had a hell of a fight to have it's way cause she Fought for Eight Years.Haha see She won even though She has left us now. The Night My Best Friend Passed Away the world was a dimmer place, but the sky received a star that shone brightly that night.
